Who We Are

Scott and Sandy moved to Canyon Lake from Houston in 2012 after visiting and falling in love with the Hill Country, and Canyon Lake specifically. The clear blue water and limestone bottom make the lake unlike any other in Texas. In 2018, they joined with Scott’s sister and her family to build their first vacation home, the Island View Retreat. It boasts spectacular views of Canyon Lake and offers the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, change in scenery for virtual schooling, or a family vacation!

A public boat ramp in the neighborhood makes it very convenient to launch or rent water toys. Local activities (within 30 minutes) include the Canyon Lake Gorge, Dam, and marina as well as fishing and tubing down the Guadalupe river, shopping in Gruene, horseback riding, Schlitterbahn, or visiting the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.
